Business Development Biz Breakfast in Landmark Brings Local Businesses Together
This morning, the Taché Community Development Corporation (CDC) hosted a successful Biz Breakfast in Landmark, welcoming local business owners and community partners for an engaging and informative gathering focused on collaboration, growth, and community development.
The event provided an opportunity to share key updates on ongoing projects led by both the RM of Taché and the Taché Community Development Corporation (CDC). Attendees heard about a range of initiatives currently underway that continue to support investment, infrastructure, and economic development across the municipality.
A major highlight of the morning was the discussion surrounding the upcoming introduction of a Community Safety Officer. This new role is expected to strengthen local safety and security measures, providing enhanced support for residents and businesses throughout the region. Businesses were also introduced to the Province’s Security Rebate Program, with clear guidance on how accessible and straightforward the application process is for those looking to improve safety at their establishments.
Participants also received an update on the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) program delivered out of Steinbach. With Landmark falling within the program’s catchment area, local employers now have an additional opportunity to attract and retain skilled workers—an important step in supporting long-term business growth and workforce stability.
The morning began on a warm note thanks to generous support from Freedom Foods, who provided breakfast sandwiches and coffee for all attendees. Their contribution helped create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for networking and discussion.
