The Centre of Canada Market was created to support local economic development and provide opportunities for small businesses, artisans, and food vendors to showcase and sell their products in a welcoming community setting. Located at the Centre of Canada Park along the Trans-Canada Highway in the RM of Taché, the market takes advantage of the high number of visitors who stop at this well-known landmark each year.
By hosting weekly markets during the summer season, the initiative helps local entrepreneurs gain exposure, generate income, and test or grow their businesses while connecting them directly with residents and tourists. The market also encourages community gathering, promotes locally made products, and highlights the creativity and talent within the region.
