Teen Entrepreneurship Training Program
Goals and Purpose
The Teen Entrepreneurship Training Program is designed to introduce youth in the RM of Taché to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business development. The program aims to inspire young people to explore business opportunities, develop practical skills, and gain confidence in turning their ideas into real ventures.
Through a series of interactive workshops, participants learn essential topics such as idea development, budgeting, marketing, customer service, and business planning. The program encourages creativity, problem-solving, and leadership while helping teens understand how businesses operate in their local community.
A key goal of the program is to empower youth to participate in the local economy. By providing training and mentorship, the initiative supports young entrepreneurs who may wish to launch small businesses, participate in local markets such as the Centre of Canada Market, or develop future career pathways in business and innovation.
Overall, the program strengthens community economic development by building entrepreneurial skills among youth, encouraging local business creation, and fostering the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs in the RM of Taché.
